Keith Newman
PR and Outreach strategist
Keith Newman is an entrepreneur and go to market executive with more than 20 years of experience directing unique media and GTM strategies that convert early-stage startups into growth companies.
Newman started his career as a writer and editor and launched an innovation hub for media and technology companies before turning his sites on consulting/advisory work and angel investing. He has worked and advised companies including Nasdaq, ReCode/VoxMedia, IDG, CMP/United, Cisco, Microsoft, PowerCloud, Podtech, Aptimusand more than 100 Startups.
Today he is a Managing Partner at The GTM Firm - assisting growth companies and hosts a popular podcast “Liftoff with Keith” featuring Super Founders, Funders and Innovators including Mark (the Shark) Cuban, SuperAngel Ron Conway and Founders of Gamestop, Ancestry, Fry’s Electronics, Atari and JotForm and 100 more great episodes.
He holds a BA from San Diego State University and completed graduate coursework at SJSU and Stanford University. For recreation, Newman enjoys golf, hiking and places a premium on family time.
Keith relishes working on new tactics to bring products to excited new audiences and accelerating adoption. He further enjoys talking startup tactics on the podcast and in “downtime” he enjoys a round of golf, a mountain hike or meditative beach walk (with his dog Birdie).
